This is worth a shot, but if you dunked your phone over two weeks ago, I'm not sure this will help. Using a desiccant like rice needs to be done right away. Speakers, unless they're protected somehow are very sensitive to water damage, I'm afraid your only option might be using head phones whenever possible.

BTW,you may want to take these questions over to an Android list.

Get yourself a bowl of dry rice. Take the battery off of the phone and
leave the back cover off. Then bury it in the dry rice for several
hours. If the battery is non removable you can still do this. the rice
will help to suck moisture out of the phone. If you don't have a big
enough bowl or container, try putting the rice and phone in a zip lock
bag and doing it that way. I've done this several times with phones in
the past with great success. You might want to gently shake the phone
with the speaker grill facing down just in case there's something stuck
in between the grill causing blockage.

Hello, I have samsung galaxy J7
About 2 weeks ago, i accidently threw my phone under tapwater for like
2-3 seconds, i immediately removed the battery, dried it and started
reusing it a couple of hours later. Since then my main speaker is not
giving clear sound. I googled it and found that it takes a day or two
but almost 2 weeks have passed and my speaker is still giving a lil
bit crackling sound (tho its audible)
Please help me resolve this issue
Thanks
