Steve, I don't think there is anything special that you have to do in order to get information on traffic jams, but, I do think you have to have a starting and ending location. Also, you can not type anything into the app while the car is moving. You could set everything up the day before in planned drives. Also, after you go to a destination, it seems to save it for you. Believe me, I am not an expert on this app. I have a sighted friend who is in the medical profession and travels around Louisiana every day. She loves it. As soon as I can get with her, I will see if she can help us. Today, we were on the road and my husband saw a matress fall off of a truck. Naturally, it started a traffic jam. There is a place to report this, but, I didn't know how. My husband was driving, and, of course, couldn't help me. Maybe I can get him to spend some time and see if we can figure it out.
