Hi,
I forgot to mention that the rainbow II. Color reader is quite small it can fit in the palm of your hand. There is a little button on the color identifier that can be used to raise and lower the volume. It also comes included with the keychain that you can put keys on. It can be carried in a pocket or purse if you need to.

Hi,
The rainbow II. Color reader is the most accurate one that I have ever used. When identifying the color pink most of them say read but this one actually says pink.

Hi, can you tell us about the rainbow two ?? How accurate is it? I know that the Color Identifier in the app store is not very good as I have it and never use it. I would be interested to hear of the Rainbow though.. Thanks so much, Andy and Shubert

Hi Sandra,
I have an app that is called light detector I purchased it through the App Store. There is also something called the rainbow two which is I in Roman numerals color reader. My husband purchased this for me through Amazon in their excess ability section. If this information is not clear or I can be of further assistance please contact me.

This rainbow to color reader was designed by a blind engineer I believe.

Hi,

The sort of app I need these days is one that will, reliably, identify LED/indicator lights on appliances, plus their colour. For example, how many are lit up, if they are flashing, what colour they are and which would work as you hover above the lights, so you know which ones are being identified.

Does anyone know of such an app? I have absolutely no success with the 'light indicator" app, if that is what it is called.

I do feel that this should be possible. Afterall, we have colour identifiers, I used to have one, can't remember, now, what it was called, which identified the changing lights that I had set up, they were fibre-optics, and shifted through the spectrum, so it could identify lit up colours. I have not seen an app which will accurately, detect the number of leds lit up. But it does all seem, eminently, possible to me.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Sandy.
