Kathy, I recently acquired a nest thermostat. I am using the app and can change from home to a mode without difficulty. It works fine with voiceover. There are a couple of other issues it don't work as well, such as not being able to determine the inside temperature, and you really can't determine or set up a schedule. However, the nest learns your habits and this doesn't send me a major drawback. Anyway, if I can help further, just ask.
