Hi Jeremy and Apple,

What sort of files do you want to transfer? I am just asking because unless
they are app-specific files there may be work-arounds using Dropbox or similar
cloud storage services. Unfortunately iTunes File Transfer to my knowledge
hasn't been accessible at all in the iTunes 12.x versions of the software. I
agree with Richard that you should take a few minutes to let Apple know about
how frustrating of an experience this is and that really they should work with
the screenreader companies to make some of what is no longer accessible better
instead of breaking it and then leaving it alone. One benefit I could see from
the recent merger of the companies which represent two of the primary
screenreaders, Jaws and Window Eyes, is that maybe this will eventually result
in better support for applications like iTunes. Larger companies may be taken a
bit more seriously by companies like Apple, Microsoft and so on when it comes
to accessibility.

Anyhow, I assume from what I read online and heard in Podcasts that iTunes may
get another fairly major overhaul this fall when iOS 10 is released so let's
all hope that things will get better again for a change instead of worse.
Certainly if Apple gets a few hundred or even a couple of thousand emails from
frustrated and outraged blind people they may start to realize that a
commitment to accessibility should not only apply to a few flagship products of
their choosing, i.e. MacOS, iOS, TVOS and WatchOS, but also for supporting
software and services such as iTunes, the iCloud.com website and so on.

And in order to save time I am CC'ing Apple Accessibility on this email. Please
Apple, wake up and listen to what us visually impaired/screenreader users have
to say. You gave us accessibility to the iPhone, iPad, Mac computers and all
that, now give us accessibility to the tools that enrich the user experience
for those devices. iCloud.com isn't even accessible with a Mac and Voiceover
and nowadays with the tools available for web development there is no excuse
for that. What ever happened to "It's like magic" and "It just works"?

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: ITunes Transferring files to iPhone 6S

Hi all,

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for using Windows version of iTunes
12.latest to transfer files into an iPhone? When I select the Apps item I tab
through the screen but must literally tab hundreds of times through all my
apps. I have about 160 apps, but sizes and date installed and such are
displayed which increases the times I have to tab through apps I'm not
interested in working with.

I gotta believe we blind computer users waste an enormous amount of time having
to re-learn software after every release. Its ok for one or two pieces of
software, but at some point this gets very tiresome when you have lots of
software on your computer--especially software such as iTunes which isn't
always the most intuitive or accessible.
