Hello Ioana, First I'd make sure you remove your Apple Id from things like iMessage, Facetime etc. You especially don't want somebody to suddenly get your iMessages. I then suggest you do a complete restore of your phone as a new device, not from backup. This should put everything back to factory settings, wipe out any network settings etc. You really don't want to take any chances here, to be even more safe, reset your Apple Id password once you sold the phone and use a new password when you get your new phone, after all, first time you setup the new phone you have to put in your Apple Id and password anyways. Easiest way to do this is by going to http://AppleID.apple.com. Sign in and then you have easy access to changing all your settings including your password.
