Correct. What’s happening here is that when you send the local stream to an Airplay device like the Apple TV, VoiceOver on the “sending” device, i.e. iPhone, still comes through to the iPhone. The stream, however, will be heard and/or seen on your speakers/television. It is the version of VoiceOver on the Apple TV that will be announcing songs, as Airplay also sends metadata to the “receiving” device. Metadata can include, but are not limited to, track information.
