Hi Jewel, Even if you remove the entire subject and message body the fact you use "Reply To" means you are still replying inside thew thread that is going on. If you completely retype a new subject your message will be in the thread but it will have a different subject.
If you reply from an iOS device tapping on "Compose" to start a new message is the only way to not disrupt an on-going thread. As soon as you start typing the address iOS should remember it and after typing "Vi" or "VIP" it should offer you the entire address. Another way to make this easier is if you set upa shortcut in Settings > General > Keyboard. You could type in the entire email address for the viphone group and abbreviate it with something like "VP" then all you have to do is type "VP" in the email "To" field and press the spacebar and it will expand this to the entire email address. Even if you completely erase the thread history and totally replace the subject, the message is tagged in such a way that the posting history is still tied to the thread yet those following along by subject using a threaded email client will be out of luck since you've hijacked the subject. If you can't remember the posting address of the list, please copy it from a message to which you are replying, cancel that message, start a brand new message, and paste the address you copied into the To field.
