According to an AppleVis podcast, the app will be free through the end of the year. I used it to see what my thermostat was set to, which is not always easy to tell, even for my sighted wife. I sent off my recorded question, and all three responses came back with an accurate answer. MY wife said that we might use BeSpecular from now on, grin.
