Hi Ari,
I feel fairly sure that the main app called 'Chirp", has a US version. As
the two apps can work together, I think, if you wanted the info on US birds,
you would use the Chirpomatic app to record your birdsong, then opt to get more
info from your US app. In short, I think this will work for you in places other
than the UK, but could be wrong. By the way, I haven't updated my version of
Chirp for quite a while now, as it is big and my broadband is small, but, in
the early days of my having the app, I did contact Hilarie, the developer, to
point out some VO issues and she was remarkably helpful, so I am hoping that
all is well re accessibility. Certainly, my, slightly, old version of
ChirpoMatic is all doable with VO. I don't remember how much ChirpoMatic costs,
but, if it is not too much, maybe worth a try? If it won't work for you, you
could get a refund, I imagine. Also, one thought, if it is available in the US
app store, then it should work there.
