You can use whatever voice with BlindSquare that you want. I have my BlindSquare voice using a female voice, I think her name is Heather, and that is different from the default Google Maps direction voice. Once you find a place in BlindSquare and have the place summary screen up, find the Plan a Route button and double tap. You will then be presented with a list of the mapping apps on your device and can choose Google Maps. When it opens, the starting and destination addresses should already be filled in so you have only to double tap the Start button and the directions will start. Note that if you are walking, be sure you swipe/flick left and double tap the walking directions button before you hit start. BlindSquare does cost, but it is totally worth the purchase. Plus, when you throw int he ability to lookat menus for many restaurants, and lots of other integrations like Uber ride requesting, it is well worth the cost. Finally, I don't believe that Nearby Explorer has been released for iOS yet but it is being developed. When it is released, it may cost the same as on Android at $100. I'm sure it is totally worth the cost as well, but BlindSquare serves my purposes quite well.
