And yes, if you buy three $50 gift cards you have to redeem each one. You can, by the way, redeem them yourself using the camera. Just peal off the plastic strip that covers the code, then when you go to redeem it tap to use the Camera and then hold the gift card maybe 6 or 8 inches away from the camera and just hold it for a while. The camera will recognize the barcode and if you check your screen it should tell you that it successfully redeemed the card. I usually get friends to pick up gift cards at Costco since quite often they offer a pack of four $25 gift cards ($100) for $80. Last time I used the camera to redeem the cards and it took all of a minute or two to redeem all four cards.
