What I normally do is to make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off and simply
flick the mute switch above the volume up key on the side of the phone. This
way all notifications that you receive, your phone will vibrate, and if you
disable the notifications on lock screen for everyone of your apps, your phone
will not wake up each time.

You can even go into the Accessibility settings and I believe there is a
setting to have your flash on your phone's camera to flash when a notification
comes up.

Hope that helps!

screen

Okay, well that was a pain in the butt. <g>

So let me ask another question. Is there a way for me to get a
vibration when a notification comes in but not have it read aloud.
What I want is to be notified that something just came in but not let
the whole world know my business.

Thanks
