I recall seeing somewhere that if you buy an iPhone, such as an iPhone SE, and you don't get a carriers Sim card to go with it, you can't use it. Is that true? I have an android phone that I never had a Sim card for, and it has worked just fine as a tablet more or less. I would like to use an iPhone se as an iPod. Is that possible?
