You might take a look at Quick Scan which you can read about here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quick-scan-qr-code-reader/id483336864?mt=8 I've downloaded it and it seems to be accessible but whether it will do everything you want, I'm not sure. The app description does mention that it can add QR code addresses to your contacts. I'm still a little confused by QR Codes because many of them appear to be private or else I'm not scanning them correctly. I was playing with Quick Scan after downloading it and I tried unsuccessfully to scan the QR Code included on a FedEx shipping label, and on various other pieces of mail. I don't know if I was doing something wrong but I activated the Quick Scan button at the top left to turn bar code scan on and the iPhone's light turned on. I assume this puts the app in automatic scanning mode but as I said, I didn't get a successful scan on any of my mail items. However, I did successfully scan a bar code on a box of crackers while in this mode and received a message that it didn't scan bar codes and I would need to download another one of the developer's apps to scan bar codes. I hope this is a bit helpful and if I learn anything else about Quick Scan, I'll post back. As I know, Contacts app doesn't have QR code support so I guess I should use some 3rd party app to scan such contacts and I would like to hear your recommendations or maybe some iOS secret way to do this.
