Hi Denise, It's been quite a long time since I had a Jambox speaker, but it used to be that you had to pull the on/off switch all the way up and hold it for a second or two before the speaker went into pairing mode. Have you used this speaker in Bluetooth mode before or is it brand-new? Also, what happens if you plug in the 3.5mm mal to male cable and connect it to your phone, does it not work? Lastly, and I am just asking out of curiocity, why do you want to use it with a cable rather than with a Bluetooth connection?
