Actually, I was wanting to use it with the Mac. I do use it with bluetooth when using the phone. However, when I have used it with the Mac, I found that the signal is not always consistent, and the speech goes back and forth between the internal speaker of my Macbook air and the mini jambox. So, I thought I would try to connect using the cable. And the last time I tried it, when I turned on the speaker, it announced that it was in paring mode, and paired with the phone. So, I thought perhaps I could do something to switch back and forth on the speaker itself, so I would not have to tell the phone to forget the device. I know the Bose speakers do have dedicated buttons to use as bluetooth or traditional wired connection. So I was just checking to see if I could perform a similar function with the Jambox.
Thank you. > On Aug 15, 2016, at 8:30 PM, Sieghard Weitzel <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Denise, > > It's been quite a long time since I had a Jambox speaker, but it used to be > that you had to pull the on/off switch all the way up and hold it for a > second or two before the speaker went into pairing mode.
