Hi Simon,

The iPhone 5S has a slightly larger battery than the 4S, the 5S battery has a
capacity of 1,570 MAH whereas the 4S battery was 1,432 MAH.
Also, if your portable charger is several years old and has been used a fair
bit it will have lost some of its capacity to hold a full charge.
You have to decide how large of a battery you want, e.g. how often do you want
to be able to charge your iPhone 5s back to 100% once it reaches the first low
battery alert at 20% and would you sometimes run it way down to 5% or less
before you charge it.
If, for example, you typically charge it when it reaches 20% and you want to
charge it twice, I'd recommend at least a 3,000 MAH battery, a bit more is
safer. Keep in mind that nowadays batteries around 3,000 to 5,000 MAH are not
so different in size, if you just want a battery that is as small as possible
and which let's you charge it back to 100% a 2,000 MAH battery is probably
sufficient.
I highly recommend the Anker external batteries. I just bought a 5,000 MAH
Anker "PowerCore" battery from Amazon.ca for $25.99 with free shipping. It is a
round cylinder that is about an inch and a quarter in diameter (3.3 cm to be
exact) and 4 inches long (10.8 cm). It has a bit of weight to it, but like all
Anker products it feels very solid and well made. If you know what a large
D-Cell battery feels like you can picture it, a D-Cell is 3.3 cm by 6.1 cm so
this Anker battery is exactly the same diameter and at 10.8 cm long it is not
quite as long as two D-Cell batteries end to end, to be exact is is 1.75 the
size.
Anker claims it has the best size to capacity ratio of any external battery,
here is a link on Amazon.ca:

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Portable phone charger either can be plugged in by USB wire to computer

Hi everyone! I need some help! I need to find a new battery charger which is
portable for my phone, the one that I have right now only charges 70 or 80% of
the 5s phone, whereas when I charged it to my old phone for S, it charged all
the way to 100 percent.
