I'm seriously considering getting a StandScan Pro to use with my iPhone, especially with such scanning apps as the KNFBReader. I'd like to know people's thoughts on it. How easy is it for a totally blind person to not only use but also to assemble and disassemble? I know it comes with a power supply or a battery pack. Do you recommend one over the other? I figured a tool like this would allow me to take much better pictures of things than what I currently take. If you don't like the StandScan, what would you use instead that would give me the same results? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
