Hi Kimberly.

The button on your Anker serves two purposes, at least it does on mine. If you
briefly press and release it, it displays the level of charge for your Anker.
If, on the other hand, you press and hold the button for a second or two, on my
charger it activates an LED flashlight. To turn this off, hold the button on
the Anker for a second or so. This is what my unit does. I don't know if
older Anker models do this, the flashlight feature.

As for the manual, it's not much help, and when I went looking for my model of
battery, it wasn't on the web to be found. I called up Anker, and, sure
enough, it wasn't on the internet to find. I was sent a .PDF version, and that
was very cryptic, even after running OCR on it..

Have a blessed day, and don't work too hard.
