Will try again. [smiley) This time I will ask 2 more questions about this app
for a friend and myself.

1. Is there an actual podcast on this app with walking? Manuals and I do not
connect. I learn by either doing or listening to someone else use whatever it
is I am learning. Just my dumb brain.
2. In an earlier version of IOS in settings I believe I saw a place with all my
apps listed with their corresponding MB use. Is that list still there or was I
dreaming or misunderstanding what those values were?
3. I am looking for a GPS that gives right and left indications rather than
feet/yards or clock face. Mostly this is for my friend who is insecure trying
to use east, west, feet and yards. I think she wants a GPS that tells her to
turn right and left.
4. In this app, can you name poi's on your own, for instance, perhaps a bump in
the sidewalk or a tree on a route with no sidewalk? I also really like the idea
of using the the compass by just holding the phone straight up. I know someone
who actually walks on a ranch from place to place by finding something with his
cane, naming it as a poi and after getting to his destination he makes it a
route. I have an area that has big areas of sidewalkless and then sidewalk and
then another stretch of sidewalkless leading to a bus stop I could access. He
told me to stay close to the road but not in it and set pois to each sidewalk.
To keep myself going straight I would use compass and if it said 90 degrees if
it was 95 when I checked I would know to go to my left to get back to 90
degrees. Does anyone think that this is possible with Nearby Explorer?

Any help with all this is appreciated. Feel free to write off list if you wish.
Thanks.

Many thanks, Richard. Putting the comma between the city and the state and
using the two-letter state abbreviation did the trick. I don't believe I've yet
to use an app on my iPhone that was so demanding as to the search syntax.

I really do appreciate all the help.
