If your only problem is to power your speakers you already have a solution. Instead of plugging them in to your netbook use the iPhone USB wall adapter and plug them into that, it will power them just fine. You can buy any USB wall adapter to do this if you don't want to use your iPhone adapter. I assume when you say your speakers are USB powered and that you use them with your iPhone that they also have a 3.5mm input and that you use a 3.5mm mal-to-male cable to connect your iPhone. If you want to buy a new speaker any iPhone dock would do and some of them come with a small, basic remote which allows you to play/pause or change the volume. Another option would be the Jawbone Jambox which would connect to your iPhone via Bluetooth so you can have your iPhone next to you and leave the speaker sitting somewhere else or vice versa, you could have your iPhone plugged in and carry around the speaker. The advantage here is that you can also answer an incoming phone call with it. But the Jambox is a bit pricy, $199 for the smaller, original version and $299 for the Big Jambox. Very good sound quality, though. Also, keep in mind that the new iPhone will most likely have a new, smaller dock connector.
