hi.
yes this also happens to me.
I have an iphone 5 S and my storage space decreases all the time ...
I do not have many apps installed on iPhone and Also I dont have many
data files in apps.
This issue also occurs in the betas of ios 10.
decreases without explanation.
I have no media data.
type: videos, photos, audio files, or other files.
I'm always cleaning data from apps that consume the most data.
this can only really be a bug.
I just hope it is resolved in the official release.
cheers.

I suspect there's a bug in the way storage is reported under the
current iOS. For example, I recently deleted almost all the music from
my phone, yet settings still reports over 30 gig of music on the
device with 34 gig free. I have a 64 gig iPhone so if I take into
account all the other apps and such currently on the phone, this
storage breakdown isn't even possible.
I've been meaning to post about this issue for a while now but haven't
had a chance. Glad you brought it up. Now if someone has a resolution
that would be great.

Hi all,
I have an IPhone 5 s, and I was going through my storage, and it told me
that I have 2.5 gigs of mail used, but I have deleted the account for mail
off of my phone.
I was wondering, how can I get this to make that number smaller?
Also, I deleted some videos, but the storage doesn’t reflect that.
Any suggestions?
