Let's not forget the fact the iPhone 7/7 Plus are basically waterproof, I think that's quite a big deal considering how many people drop their phones in the toilet or use it outdoors where this could be a life-saver. Also there is the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, again a big change and a show-stopper for some. Lastly, the home button has been replaced with a home button which apparently can be and is being used for a lot more than what it currently does. I agree that next year's phone will most likely be very different as it will go to a different form factor and all that, maybe the home button goes away completely and maybe there will be wireless charging, but at this point all of this is speculation and for most people who have anything below a 6S/6S Plus and definitely below a 6/6 Plus the 7/7 Plus is a very nice upgrade.

The only difference between iPhone7, and 6s, is the speed, and camera. The only way I would get iPhone7, is if I could sell my iPhoneSE for a decent price. 400 or more.
