Did you check the sound settings and check that change with buttons is turned
off?
Also, with Siri, ask something that requires Siri to talk a bit and as soon as
it starts talking, start turning up the volume.
I assume the mute switch is not down.

Hello everybody,

I am driving to help a sided friend of mine who doesn't know much about his
iPhone. He is experiencing problems with his phone not ringing. I went through
all the settings, and everything is set so that it should ring. The volume for
things as voiceover, or his email coming in, and things like that is currently
at 100%. However, when I went to use Siri to turn off voice over, when I
pressed the home button, the phone did not vibrate, and the voice of Siri was
very very low. Could this affect the phone's ability to ring? The phone bill
will vibrate. But that's it. I made sure he did not have his phone on do not
disturb, and I even checked the airplane mode setting, just to be safe. All is
well there. So could someone please help me figure out why his phone is not
ringing, or why does Siri voice is so low, and why it doesn't ding or vibrate
when the button is pressed?
What do I need to do for him to fix these issues?

Thank you so much!

Terri
