Are you inquiring about a file that already exists or creating a new file altogether?
It's relatively straightforward to in an existing file, you simply go into your dropbox folder and focus on the file in question; then hit the menu button and select the appropriate action. As for creating a new file, that will depend on the apps that you have and whether or not they are linked to your dropbox.
