I have an older Apple tv. I would like to upgrade. But right now, the money just isn't there. I was told by a friend, that the 3rd generation will not be able to receive the latest update coming out. Is this correct? Here is my issue. I watch Netflix a lot with my Apple tv. But I also watch some other things as well. Tonight, I wanted to watch something on Youtube. However, it is no longer there. Actually, there is a lot of stuff that is gone. I think there used to be close to 60, or 70 options there. Now, there are only 34 options. How did this happen? How do they go about removing content?
