Hi Terri. This is how Fred sounds like on the Mac. It's been like that for years, probably since 2000 and I doubt Apple will change that. Think of it as Apple's solution for people wanting Eloquence on their phones.

However, I don't think I like the new look. I like page 1, or the home screen the way it used to be. I don't understand why they changed this. But oh well! But the worst thing about it was that I was looking forward to trying out Fred. I like Alex a lot, and have been using him for some time now. However, when I heard Fred's voice, I was shocked!
