Hi Harry, are you sure that you're not inside the Yahoo mailbox whenever you're sending Mail out? If you are, then this fall need to be changed. In order for your default account to be used when composing a message, no mailboxes needs to be open. Meaning you should see all your mailboxes in a list in order to compose a message, with the default account. I hope this helps.
