I'm guessing it's an Apple feature, as it works in all the Apple apps, like 
contacts, notes, calendar, and mail. It used to work in Facebook posting mode 
as well. But hasn't in some time. I'm just hoping Mail gets it back as well. I 
do think it happens upon loading, as when you're replying, all the text 
conforms.
