Data like your music doesn't get backed up when you back up your phone,
but you can sync it with your PC or the cloud. After restoring your
phone just sync your music and you should be good to go.

iTunes backups in order to get the most information possible in a backup. I have
several albums and playlists downloaded to my phone through Apple Music. I also have
some things added to my library, but not downloaded. Will the backup retain the
playlists, downloaded music, and added to library music correctly? I'm just making
sure, in case something goes wrong with the update and I find it necessary to
