Hi Wayne,

First, I would make sure your Internet connection is working properly. If it 
is, check your old phone to see when it was backed up last & do another backup 
to be sure everything is backed up. Then go to Settings/General/Reset/Erase on 
the new phone, erase  all, and try restoring from the backup again. I had 
something similar happen Where I tried to restore from iTunes and only got a 
few apps. Fortunately, the second attempt went fine.
