It worked for me for a while, and once in a while, it will still work. Then
it goes crazy.

I just downloaded, and installed iOS10 this morning, and so far no problems.
I went into the app store, and did the same thing you did Jim, and had no
trouble, as I both typed using the touch typing function, and the dictation
key. I hit search button, and a list came up. As far as I can hear, and
tell, it works the same for me as it always did. If I come across an issue,
I will share it with the group.
