Traveling by bus just got a lot easier for people who are blind. On Sept. 20,
Perkins Solutions released an app called
BlindWays<http://support.perkins.org/site/R?i=dCIW91foAOpyuUzc4BqFYw>, which
helps people who are visually impaired locate bus stops in the Boston area. The
free iPhone app provides crowdsourced clues that make it possible for people
who are blind to navigate to the precise locations of bus stops — allowing them
to travel more independently.
