mine may have been bought from apple store, and says t-mobile. But when I updated my phone in iTunes and went to phone activation it said “Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked”. I don’t know if this is because my sim card was in a iPhone SE that was unlocked, or because I paid for it all at once. All I know is my friend with a verizon sim card was able to use it.
