Hi, Go into settings, General, Accessibility, and just after Call Routing, you will find a setting for the Home button. Open that and set, rest finger on home button to on. It defaults to off. This allows you to use your fingerprint to open the phone. And, it will take one less press of the home button to open the device without a passcode. HTH, Richard
