Hi, Have you tried calling them through the facetime app? Or,
messages, click the contact, more info, click their name, then
scroll to face time audio, it's still there, but redesigned.

Hi all
Using an Iphone 6 with ios 10.0.2. When I go to a contact to
phone a friend using an iphone, I now only see facetime video
calling. When I choose the more options, I still only see the
video call option. Am I missing something here, or what must I
do to be able to make the facetime audio call now? In prior
versions of ios there was a button clearly marked that way,
making it possible to choose between video call and audio call
for facetime. What might I be overlooking here? Any help
appreciated.
