To their credit they've done a pretty good job with using keyboard
access to navigate around the desktop.
Haven't tested VoiceOver on OS X but on Windows using IE or Firefox
works great.
Not being able to read links on ones Timeline is a huge step backwards
though.
What's the bet they fix it in the next update only to brake it again.
Kind regards,

I will definitely write them, and I urge everybody else who uses this app to do
the same. They haven't said what is new in their app for ages. Every time I get
an update and I look at the little blurb about what's new, nothing useful is
there. Same with messenger. And lots of other apps do the same thing. It's like
why are you bothering to put this nonsense. Just don't say anything.

Hi Mary,
Do let us know how you get on.
The latest update to the iOS app certainly introduces some major accessibility
issues as it relates to VO.
Going to write to them as well.
Wish I could role back to a previous version of the app, but I believe the
process of doing so has become rather convoluted since iOS 9.
Another change I've noticed is that they no longer tell users what's changed in
the app in the release notes when updating which can be disconcerting.
Here's hoping the problems are addressed soon.

It seems to me that I recall seeing some kind of an address for the people who
are supposedly working on accessibility at Facebook. And they certainly got a
lot of credit for that very much hyped feature where descriptions are provided
for some photos. Now, there is some really serious breakage that has gone
unfixed for two updates. I would like to be able to write them, although I'm
sure mine won't be the first note, pointing out this very basic regression in
excess ability, which renders us unable to read the titles of links in our
feed. I would say that this regression is far more important than that overly
hyped feature where you get to tell if there's food or people, but no text is
translated, in the many photos which get posted. I know a lot of people think
that feature is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I think it's kind of a
waste until we can actually read the text, which is always, at least for me,
the most important thing in the photos that I can't see. Anyway, does anybody
have the address?
