They are overcharging on certain products/accessories. I don't necessarily think they do so on the iPhones. Yes, they are expensive and could be less so, but the recently recalled and now completely discontinued exploding Samsung Note 7 was just as expensive. I can only guess at the uproar had this happened to Apple's iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, there would have been no end to the press slamming Apple.
