Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone knows a way to see (and possibly delete) “hidden” iCloud data that doesn’t show up in the user interface. It would be great if one had the option of “starting over” so to speak.
For example, I think iCloud stores containers for every app I’ve ever installed, some of which aren’t visible in iCloud’s “manage storage” settings or in iCloud Drive on a Mac or PC. However, I can see traces of them here and there. To give just one example, if I do a spotlight search on my Mac, I can see a folder under ~/Library/Mobile Documents/SE69VQ73SR~com~mipsoft~blindsquare. Presumably this is the container for the BlindSquare app which would have my database of favourite points of interest and other settings. And, presumably the reason this is showing up on my Mac is because the Mac stores everything in my iCloud account. Now, I definitely wouldn’t want to erase that particular container and I’m glad it’s there, but the point is I’d love to be able to view all the data stored in my account and have the option of deleting some of it. I’m not a developer, but I think developers have the option of hiding their ubiquity containers if they so choose. What do you think?
