Because of a phone, my 6 falling out of a pocket, hitting the floor, I had a
major phone trauma-drama. Yes, part of my screen shattered in the upper left
part of the screen with a jagged piece where the speaker for the phone is,
and nasty little glass splinters under fingers. There was a process whereby
I could have had my phone replaced because I pay for the insurance. I have
been saying for quite some time that the 6 was just too big in general for
me, and I opted to pay off my contract and get the SE which, so far, is
terrific. Being totally blind, I am not sure I could use three-D touch
anyway.

I did purchase a glass screen protecter for it, and though I have placed
the sticky ones myself before, I had my little sister place it for me for
which I am most thankful. She digs me out of my computer foibles around here
when she visits. Normally, I am on my own with this stuff and, for the most
part, we manage just fine. But every once in a while, we hit a snag, and if
I can't ultimately solve it myself, I am stuck until I can borrow someone's
eyes to help.

I also updated my Microsoft Surface on my own this morning, and the changes
threw me off terribly. Thankfully, she was coming down today, and when she
could tell me what she could see on the screen and where I needed to get
JAWS to be, it was solved.

This is why I have kind of a love/hate relationship with all of this stuff.

Hopefully, Apple will get the bug infestation in IOS 10.1 fixed before too
long, though I have been mostly all right with it.

Take care, everyone and have a terrific weekend.
