Hi, Carol, Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, but all I had to do to get my music back was to interact with the Sidebar on iTunes and VO-arrow right to "Sync entire library" and my problem was solved. For notifications I just had to go into the apps and answer whether or not I wanted them to allow to use my location. Hope this helps.
