Greetings to the list. I am posting this concern for a friend who owns an iPhone 6 running the latest iteration of iOS 10 and a Braille Edge display.
When he opens a message in the Mail appe the Braille Edge displays the text "message X of X" where "X" refers to the number of a message in a conversation and the number of messages in the thread being currently read. This problem does not show up in the AppleVis list of active iOS 10 bugs although there is a bug which names other extraneous information being displayed but does not mention refreshable Braille displays. Can anyone confirm this behavior? Is there a work-around? He has notified Apple Accessibility and received the response that his concern is being investigated. Thank you for all help.
