How do I stop the native calendar app from sending "invitation" emails to persons I happen to include in a calendar event? This is very bothersome. For example I had an event I called "Dinner with Sue and George". It sent an email to the email address I had for them and sent another to another Sue who doesn't even live in my state! It has even cost me a friendship since I entered "Go to court with Terry" when I was to testify in a civil suit and then I deleted it later when it was cancelled. But somehow an email was sent to the person and she thinks I put her business on the Internet. . Well, I want to turn off this extremely annoying feature. I went to the Mail app in settings and made sure that all my Google calendars were not connected. I might have the calendar connected to Outlook through iCloud but don't know if this would be a problem since I rarely open Outlook. I want to stop all invitations, period. It is a breach of my privacy and totally unnecessary. I hope someone can help.
