Exactly my experience, still baffles me. I'll definitely try out Shai's suggestion about this app. I hope this is the same for users who don't use Voiceover. Anna, when your sighted husband had a look was Voiceover running? Wouldn't it be incredible if there were a DialPad without Voiceover and not one with Voiceover running? Of course the existance of the app Shai mentioned would indicate that Apple simply decided people didn't need to press any numbers on their Apple Watch or may want to dial a phone number manually. I guess you could use SIRI for this, but that still doesn't solve the problem of having to dial numbers during a call.
