Hi Ruby,

        Like you I'm also learning French using my iPhone and other devices.  
Currently I use the native Music app because I can turn MP3 files into books by 
changing the tags in iTunes.  You can then slow down or speed them up in the 
Music app.  Also, there are some nice podcasts out there that work well on the 
iPhone, my favorite is Coffee Break French.  If you want to share French
