I sort of agree with Ed, yes, you can check what the underlying URL of a link is, but not everybody on this list may know how to do this and I actually don't think one should have to do this. Also, in this case the link wasn't even forwarding to a particular article with instructions but it was simply pulling up a page full of Google search results. He could have just as well posted "Just do a Google search for How to delete pictures from your iPhone" or whatever the exact search term was he used. Given the various skill levels of members on the list I think either post nothing or at least post the basic steps and then it's OK to post a link to an article which describes it in more detail.
