Hi Todd,

What Chris means by "custom action" is simply a reference to the new way of
moving/arranging apps in iOS 10 which you do by flicking up or down when you
are on the home screen with focus on whichever app you want to move or delete.
I'm not sure if your braille display shows this, but if you touch an app or
swipe to an app and wait for just a moment Voiceover says "Actions available".
This is a reminder that you have actions available if you swipe up or down. As
I explained before, the options are "Activate" which is the default and which
simply opens the app or "Arrange Apps" which when activated with a double tap
or, in your case, Chord 36.
Once you press Chord 36 where it says "Arrange Apps" you then have to do
whatever your equivalent braille display command is for a swipe up or down (it
doesn't matter which as there are only 2 options) and then when you are on
"Actions" you do another Chord 36 and this should bring up the delete
prompt/confirmation. The other option is "Move" which if you activate it will
allow you to go elsewhere on the screen and then swipe up or down where you
find options which allow you to bring the original app to that point and you
can insert it either before or after the app you are now on or create a folder
with the two apps. For example, you may have your Settings app in the third row
and in the second position from the left. Now you want to move it to the first
row and put it in the very left position where, let's say, you currently have
the Contacts app. You would first go to the Settings app, select the "Arrange
Apps" option and activate it, then you would activate the Move option. Now you
would go all the way to the top on your Contacts app, swipe down (or equivalent
command) until you get to the option "Place Settings before Contacts", then
double tap or press Chord 36 and Settings gets moved from row 3 to row 1 at the
very left, Contacts slides over to row 1 second from the left and, of course,
all other apps also slide one to the right which means whichever app was at the
very right of each row is now on the very left in the row below.

Regards,
Sieghard

Chris,

That does not answer. I asked you where you got the "custom" thing!

I understand about double tap = chord 36, but what about dot and key command???
 Be more specific.

Thank you.

Todd

Todd, what I mean is, perform the equivalent dot or key command to simulate a
one finger swipe up or down. Same when I talked about the double tap; you
perform the equivalent dot or key command to simulate this gesture.
