After all the feature is “Add to Homescreen” and not “Save to Homescreen”. While on that page in Safari, find the share button which is usually just above the home button at the bottom of the screen. Double tap that and flick left with one finger until you find “add to home screen.” Double tap and you will have an edit box where you can edit the name. Just remember to double tap on the done or save button in the upper right.
