Sorry for the delay in answering ... no, no numeric pad, it's primarily trying to be small and portible, and yet suitable for all 3 types of devices.
I haven't read the docs fully, but I suspect just like a laptop, you can hold down the FN key, and have the keys centered around the j, k, and l act as numeric pad keys. I used a laptop which worked like this for years, and the muscle memory soon takes over, and you think nothing of pressing the special key, and I found it to be faster in that you don't have to move your hands off of home row.
